Congrats on the up coming wedding. I'm sure with curves and this diet program you'll make your goal weight or close to it by may. Take it a day at a time and try doing some walking on the days you don't go to curves it helps as well. Good luck and let us know how you are doing. Margaret

Hello. I was happy to see there are others here who also go to Curves. I joined about 4 years ago, but have been vey inconsistant. The sad thing is I know I feel better, both physically and mentally when I go, and I know what it can do for you. I just turned 57 and am getting married in May. I am anxious to lose 40lbs by then, but am not having a good start. I am really going to put the effort in to start going to Curves at least 3x a week, starting this Monday.

Good Morning: Thank you so much for those words of encouragement, we received a call that my husband's step-father died and now we have to head out to Wisconsin and I will miss my Curves workout on Saturday, but I know I can handle this and do well, thank you again I will keep your words with me.

Hi Valorielayne,Well you are in the right place at the right time. But go slowly at curves if you are not up to par yet. My sister has been having trouble this year with one medical problem after another. But she came right back to curves and does the circuitbut more slowly.
And as for this diet program with sparkpeople I find it fantastic. I have beenon every diet there is and I can honestly say that this is the only one that I'm not hungry on.The tracking system for your food is great. I find myself running to the computer to mark down what I have planned for a meal and then usually finding that I can eat a little more this is great. I have been on the diet for 4 days now and have tried a few of their receipes and they are good and easy and the whole family like them as well. So take a day at a time and I know you will be able to do it. Let me know how you are making out and if you just want to chat I'm here. Margaret

Hi! I've been a member of Curves for about 1 year, but I haven't gone for the past 3 months. I was involved in a car accident, went through a difficult health problem, the holidays, dark winter days, just no motivation to go. But, I returned this week and I did feel better when I finished both physically and emotionally. I am a new member and I want to eat more healthy and live a healthy lifestyle, but I definitely need support.

Hi I've been working out at curves for the past 2 years. started out 3 times a week now I do 5 times a week. My diet hasn't been that great but I just came across this site so I'm going to give it a try . Any hints you can give me will help. I love my tea and after Curves we usually go and have a cup with other members and chat with each other,I have always wondered if tea goes into our water quata for the day I make mine very weak.I'm starting my new diet on Monday so I'll let you know how I'm doing at the end of the week. Thanks for now . Happy new year

Welcome back! I go to Curves also. I have been going for a year. I got off track in the fall when I was away helping to care for my mother. I had a guest pass but it was difficult to get there. After I got home again, it was coming into the Christmas season and I had trouble getting back into my routine. I DID go to Curves on Friday and enjoyed my workout. My friend got back from her vacation so I expect that next week we will be going to Curves on a regular basis again.

I agree that it is nice to be in an environment with other women where you know you are doing something good for yourself. Keep it up. You are worth it.

hugs,
Judy

Hi Everyone and Happy New Year! I have been off track for months and at the Holidays felt so overweight and lousy I
was depressed by it. I received a gift
month at "Curves" a workout place from a
dear friend and knew that it was what I
needed to change! I have just started going but it is great, 30 mins. on my way
home from work, 3 times a week and it is
not strenuous but works all your muscles.
I feel better just doing something for me and knowing I am getting some exercise. I
also like the fact that there are other ladies there, I am not doing this alone.
Anyway, the food part for me is harder as
I eat pretty healthy but need to watch my
portions and going out to eat is so easy
but I usually overdue when I am out.
Well, just wanted to check in with the boards. I lost 3 lbs. this week so the
effort is worth it. My goal is 18 lbs. off
by May 5. Hope you all have a great weekend and do something nice for you today!
