My husband and I went on a 5 week cross country trip the end of April and May. We were determined not to gain weight on the trip and we didn't. I hadn't joined SP then but just didn't want to put any more weight on. We had continental breakfast most mornings at the hotel. Usually cereal and a boiled egg. We usually had one big meal and sometimes shared an entree. We ate some picnic lunches of banana and Peanut Butter sandwiches and fruit. Some nights we would just go to the grocery store and get salad bar. Good luck on your vacation and just try to make good choices but don't be to hard on yourself you are on vacation!

Wow, 50 lbs--that's great. Since my vacation began (school teacher so off for two months), I feel your fear about eating during your vacation. Hope you are/were able to eat sensibly. My husband and I are headed down to key West tomorrow for 3/4 days and have decided to just order one meal and share it. Breakfast, though, we won't share. Lunch will be just a ham and cheese sandwich. We're taking our big cooler so I have strawberries, carrots and radishes for snacks. We'll take a couple yogurt also--most for upset stomach problems.
Hope you didn't gain during you trip; however, if you did, just restart your weight loss and kick it up a notch!

With eating in Restaurants for the next 3 weeks, it is going to be hard to maintain diet... wish us luck!
