I thought getting 20 points was a prize ... I mean wow!!! that really kicked my SPARK POINTS up for the daily total.... but a shirt would be neat too... I am just glad I haven't missed a day logging in, tracking food , or working out.

I won a bumper sticker a few months back- it's not an urban legend!

It would be nice to see some sort of physical prize as I know that motivates alot of people. But I look at it this way--its a free site, so I'm not losing anything (but weight hopefully). And there's that old time saying..."There is no such thing as a free lunch." Just keep up the good work and I think that meeting goals, losing the weight and feeling good are payment enough!! Good luck everyone!!

Julie you've been on the site a whole six weeks. Would you expect to win a tee-shirt or water bottle every six weeks on the site? If not, why do you think you should have won one by now?

I've been here just over a year and seen products on my wheel about twice.

If you're an American, just thank your lucky stars that if you do see a tee-shirt, and you actually land on it, you can actually GET it. They don't send them outside the US, so not only would I not even get it, but I wouldn't get any points either, as the tee-shirt segment doesn't get you wheel points.

It comes down to the truism of life - you get what you pay for. If you want free prizes all the time, maybe check out one of those pay sites like Weight Watchers?

yes, I agree. It would be nice to win a prize, even a bumper sticker would be nice. It would be free advertisement for the site (even though I tell everyone about it) a bumper sticker would spread faster. As far as the points go, I have gotten 20 and 25 several times. The last three days I have only got 1 point :(

Yeah, I agree, it's free to use and that's fun :) Plus I dunno, I like seeing my little trophy graphic change. Probably because I'm a gamer and it feels like I've gained a level... I'm a nerd.

When I first joined SP, there was always a prize on the wheel (though, I never won one), but I don't really care because I'm happy the site is free. I need to get healthy not win a shirt LOL

I'm competitive, so I like seeing my points add up, but I agree that some sort of additional prize for reaching different points (maybe a coupon for a gym membership or trial, a free fiber bar, something like that) would keep people coming back.

Thanks!

Aloha,
Liz

It would be awesome to see "prizes" on the wheel! I have just seen it go up to 25 points. I have not been on long enough to really get the feel of it, though.

I did win a free t-shirt once from the wheel. I haven't seen any prizes for awhile though.

Maybe there can be goodie giveaways... That'd be fun. But actual stuff? Not necessary.

I think free stuff is kewl too. However, you must remember this whole site is free and it's helping you reach your goals. So, I'll just take the points. However my SIL won a bumper sticker once. :)

I only see points but thats ok it is enough of a prize to see myself lose some weight finally.

I agree that prizes are just a nice bonus, but not necessary. I don't expect them at all. The fact that this site is free is pretty amazing! You can always buy a t-shirt from the SP store if you want one.

I agree too. It's fun just watching the wheel. And it was great the time I got 25 points.

Prizes are always fun, but really, this is a free site, so where are those prizes going to come from? I would hate to see this site become a pay site just so that prizes could be added to the wheel...

I would like a free water bottle, but so far have not got it. I got points up to 20 points a couple of times. All good.

I think the site with all it's amazing tools is a reward in itself. Any other weight loss program would cost a lot more.

I have been getting just a few points at a time...I have seen 20 on the wheel a few times, but only received 5. :(

I've been on here 11 months, and I've never seen a free gift come up on the wheel. I've seen 25 points on there just twice (and I got them once!)
I wouldn't hold your breath!

I have not seen anything free on my points wheel either. There is just points and I get no more than 5 points each time I log in. I think it would be nice to get a free t-shirt or water bottle.
