I think the new SparkEarth/SparkAmerica feature is a nifty feature, and I look forward to using it.
I'm also pleased that while the default is "SparkAmerica", we can also set it to "SparkEarth".
However, I am somewhat confused - is the world really divided into "America" and "Earth"? :) I'm aware that Americans are vastly in the majority on SparkPeople - still, I find it interesting. Please note that this isn't a complaint, it's just an observation, and something I found kind of odd.
Would it not be as appealing if the default was SparkEarth for everyone?
