| When I use food grouping I just put the number of servings in the title. For example last night we had chicken noodle hotdish, so the title is Chicken Noodle Hotdish - 8 servings. That way I can remember how many servings it was for and when I eat a serving I know I need to put that it was 0.125 of a serving because the tracker thinks the whole hotdish is a serving otherwise.

| are you using the grouping method for recipes? if so, a much better method is to use the recipe calculator at sparkrecipes, and then enter that recipe into your favorites. the calculator will figure out the per serving info. when i realize i'll need a reminder of what a serving size was for a recipe, i enter it in the recipe title window. for example, my chili recipe entry might say "Easy Chili 1/2 cup" as a title.

| No, neither do I. I copy down the nutritional information for the serving size I select, then enter it as a new food item favorite.

| I don't have the option on my food grouping window to enter it as a favorite. That would be nice!

Angie: For items that I end up using over and over, I add a new entry for a Food Not Listed. So I might have a food grouping for fruit salad with 5 items, but if I use it often enough I will create a Berry Fruit Salad for myself, use the 0,166 equivalent of your food group, and enter it as a favorite.
You can also use the recipe calculator at SparkRecipes.com to figure out the single serving nutrient information.

I was just wondering if there was any way to put in a window on the last page of a food grouping to calculate a serving size instead of the whole recipe. It's just too cumbersome to try and divide everything out by serving when entering in the information, so I just put in all of the ingredients and divinde it out afterwards. So, if the entire recipe was for 6 servings, then I have to enter in .166 of a serving every time I use my food grouping. This is confusing however, because sometimes I can't remember the amount of servings a recipe was for if I haven't used it in a while.
I guess what I would love to see is a way to put in that 1 serving = .166 of the entire recipe or food group that I just entered. That way if I eat one serving of my food group it will automatically calculate just that one serving for me.
Does that make sense???
