 I think it is always a good idea when starting a diet to have a buddy you can talk to. Good idea.

Hi Everyone!
We wanted to let you know that we've recently added a new search criteria to SparkPages. At the top of your SparkPage you can search for someone in your area, someone with similiar goals, etc. Now you can also search for someone looking for a buddy!
If you are looking for a buddy, just check the box that says "Looking For Buddy". Then when someone is doing a search, your SparkPage will come up in the results.
We hope this is an easy way for people who want buddies to find each other.
