Just sayin'.
I am constantly amazed by the amount of information I find here. I don't expect 100% accuracy in food counts or in the calorie counts for exercises. You can't tell me that all cherries are exactly alike, and neither are all elliptical trainers. It's close enough. I do enter a lot of my own foods, and even then, I find that they change from time to time. It doesn't matter to me. It's working.
I do find that I'm more and more aware of what's in the foods I eat and how much activity I get. I know pretty much what I ate last week, and what I did. I lost 1 lb, so I know what will probably work next week. I watch my sodium and fiber intake for trends. I'm just more aware. Of lots of things.
When I joined SP I was looking for the perfect diet. It took me a long time to get serious about it, and when I did it took me a long time to start losing weight. (I did lose a couple of sizes pretty quickly though.) In the process I've become pretty serious about taking better care of myself and feeling healthier. I'm not interested in diets anymore. I just eat healthier and move more, and slowly the pounds are dropping away. Slowly. Just like they crept up.
I really love SP. I love my friends on the teams. I love that you're always looking for ways to make the site better. I get a big kick out of that new data page (Ok, so I'm easily amused. I really like it!) I love the comments sections on the nutritions and fitness trackers. I can make a note that what looked like a pretty bit breakfast was really breakfast and a snack. If my food or exercise goes off track, I can note why. You guys (generic term, you know) are always coming up with things that I didn't even know I wanted.
I really love this site, and I love the changes it's helping me to make in my life.
Thanks.
