GLASSHEART68, Don't be so hard on yourself. I blew it myself last night AND no one pushed me into it. I am now fasting today to hopefully undo the damage a little. It happens to the best of us at one time or another. Welcome back.

It's a week later now, I hope everything has worked out OK for you. Just refocus and think of the original reasons you set your goals.

Good for you getting back on the wagon. Now you have to have a plan for next time, because there is always a next time. It helps if you can remove yourself from the temptation to eat till you have more control. It's hard to eat if you are soaking in a hot bubble bath or taking a long walk.

Yesterday I had a horrible day complete with near melt down at work. I just wanted to throw myself face first into a bag of cookies when I got home. Instead, I grabbed both my dogs and their leashes and headed out into the trails for an hour. By then, I'd walked off all my anger and frustration and was in control again.

If you can do something like that, you won't be mad at yourself the next day. Take care of yourself and do what's best for you.

Good for you to not let this get you down and stay down. Food used to be my comfort, but now excercise is. I excercise better when I am mad and it always makes me feel some better when I am upset.

Mrs K. Everyone is right, it is good that you knew that what you did was not good for you and you were able to stand up and start again. This happens to everyone. The next step is to ask yourself as you are starting to do it again, " how will this affect me physically and mentaly?" Because as you can see, what you do just does not affect your nutritional values, it affects your mental state.
Your problems or situations will go away. Don't worry about what other people are trying to do, worry about you. If people are just making foods you feel are not the best choice for you, you can have some but low amounts. You can bend you food intake to fit any situation. Do not get down on yourself, that will hurt you more than you know. That is why we are here. If you need help just ask. I feel we are a family here at spark and will encourage you and be here if you need help staying on the spark wagon!
Good Luck, you already know tomorrow is going to be a better day, but start making today a better one also. Positive thinking will take you far!

Good for you. If you do this everytime you fall, you will find yourself always standing upright.

An emotionally upsetting day has lead me to fall off the wagon by closet to 600 calories today. So glad tomorrow is a new day.

I just need to stay focused on my plan, even though I have some things going on. It is really hard, never mind others underminding my new eating habit, heck I am underminding myself!

The thing is I knew that what I was eating wasn't going to do me any good when I got on here and added it up, I use food as my comfort.

It happened and tomorrow is a new day and tomorrow I will do better, I fell off the horse, but I am brushing myself off and getting back on....

Good luck everyone.
