fisrt reaction is to be persistent..second thought is if you do and they grudgingly do what you ask, every time you go in it make be uncomfortable for you..so what would I do..weigh my actions against what you forsee would not only be immediate but longterm reactions...

Being persistent and threatening to take away business are two things managers at health clubs hate. Stick with it if you feel passionate about it.

I go to premier fitness and have a gold membership. The club that I go to is currently having some renovation done to their daycare, so I cannot go during the day, since I have a child at home with me. Anyway, I decided to check out anothter club, however, all their members have to pay for daycare. I was hoping my club could work something out for me to get a pass for the month that will cover my daycare, since it is not my fault I cannot go to my own club. But they told me they cannot do anything and I have to pay the daycare if I want to work out there. What would you do? Should I just change my workout schedule or make a big deal about this inconvience?
