How long has that been there? I was just trawling through the RC, and I see we can create and print our own routines...is that new?

The new features are great! There are a couple of *little* things though..
it would be great to be able to print out our saved workouts. I have only set up 2 so far...and have completely forgotten what I put in them!
could we have the video workouts available to add to our trackers (lazy...it would be easy to do myself)
with the fact that points aren't deducted for removed exercises and the chance of erroneously adding exercises through selecting a workout, would it be feasible to be able to set your tracker with your exercises then click a "claim points" button? (or have them added in the old way and we can click the "done" button)
Thanks, though...this is making adding exercises far quicker!

Wanted to chime in that I love the new functionality of the fitness tracking. I had ignored the strength training tracker for awhile, but now it's just how I need it. Thanks again Sparkpeople.

I want to thank you sooooo much for adding the stretching link to the fitness section like that from our page. I think that will help alot of newbies NOT make the mistake of forgetting how important stretching is. I cant say thanks enough. THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS lol
Might I also suggest a link to more than the individual demos, but you doing those stretches in a routine too, like the workouts you have made? (easily pleased yet never satified)
The various methods to create and track your own customized sequential workouts with the new options is wonderful too, thanks so much.
It really means so much to me to see you guys improving the sight and taking our suggestions to heart and figuring out how to implement them. Im sure glad I found SparkPeople!!

| I really like the new features. I'm glad that you put in a stretching check box! It would be really cool if at some point we could set up stretching workouts like we can with the strength workouts now. I LOVE being able to group different exercises into different workouts. I also LOVE that we can independently track sets, reps, and weight and easily modify those things to reflect our improvement. Thanks sparkpeople! You're the best!

I was just thinking today that it would be great to have more options for tracking weight training! These enhancements are EXACTLY what was needed to improve the site!
My only other suggestion would be to have little places on the fitness page where you can make personal notes about your workout.
Thanks SP! --Heather

We're happy to announce a new set of enhancements to the Fitness Tracker that we launched today, thanks to our members' suggestions.
First, the Tracker now lists a check box for tracking your Stretching. This box appears on each day that you have exercise scheduled.
Secondly, we now offer many more features to allow you to customize the tracking of your strength training plan, such as adding your own exercises and their weight/reps/sets, creating your own workouts, and more.
To implement this new functionality, we had to change every member's strength training settings. This is temporary, and you can easily return your settings to their original state. Please read the following article for details: New Fitness Tracker Enhancements.
We hope you enjoy these site upgrades!
