| SEEMS GOOD. BUT I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WHEN I WANT TO ADD AN EMOTICON. AS MUCH AS I CLICK ON IT, IT WONT COME UP. AND I CANT GET IT TO LOAD. EVERYTHING ELSE IS WORKIN FINE

I couldn't even log in until late yesterday but today the site is running well and is much faster than it has been for quite a while.

The site was much faster today. Tonight around 10p it got really slow and did some funky things while trying to load. It wouldn't let one of my friends sign on during that time.
picked back up later on.

Yes it is alot faster, but it still crashes explorer.
Virtual paging file set to max
pentium 4 clocked at 2.0
1 Gig memory

| Much better I wasn't able to even get my fix of Sp for 2 days because of the slowness. But its back so thank you.

Yes it had been frustratingly difficult, and loading more than one page at a time for Reply Email alerts ussually got me booted off the site. lol
I have noticed a decrease in the LAG but it still seems sort of slow to me. Im in South Florida if that makes a difference at all.
I guess the pathways have to be traveled in order to be repaved and time will show it to be better?

OMG I had the same problems with slow loading pages and other things happening. But things are much better today.

Disturbedone, have you ran spyware/adware/virus scans? Malware will slow down page loading. Or is it only here you have the prob?
Seems to me the site is back to normal functionality.

While reading through the forums, I've had it hesitate too long to load the next page as if it was going to time out. If I hit "stop" and try again it usually works fine, loading the next page quickly.
Edited to add: it hesitated a full 30 seconds when I hit "post message" before it finally reloaded the thread page with my new post showing. Every post I have made tonite has done the same thing.

Although the performance is slightly better than yesterday (as in I can actually log some of my food) it is still MUCH more difficult to navigate than it usually is.
The pages that usually take less than a second to load, are still taking minutes for me.
Unfortunately, I am not noticing the major improvement that other are speaking of.

We made some changes to our servers today which we think MAY solve the site slowness problem we've had the past few days. We're not 100% we have it solved. Can you reply here if you think the site has been faster since around 1:30 PM eastern time?
