That workout was tougher than I thought it was going to be! Awesome exercises!
And LIFEISZOE- you can add the video to your tracker by going to strength training and going under user entered. You enter it in and then click on it after it shows up on the list, to add it to your overall tracking for the day.

| Hey Coach Nicole, REALLY cannot say enough about how much I love your videos, especially this one! Do you think you'll do a stretching video? I always feel like I'm not doing a long enough, good enough stretch before and after my workouts. Or I'm only hitting certain areas. Your videos are so helpful, I'd love you to see one for stretching!

| I loved this exercise at first and I noticed when I stopped that the results started disappearing (I was sick so I couldn't work out at all)-but now that I'm healthy again I did this video this morning and 6 minutes has never felt so energizing! Thank you SP and Thank you Nicole!

Yay!!! This is a great exercise I can do in only 6 minutes, because even 15 minutes can seem too long when I'm trying to squeeze in everything during baby's naptime. I feel it in my buns. I'm adding this to my regualar routine. Please come up with some more very short and effective videos. Love it!!!

BILLSLADY- It would be impossible for me to give you specific exercise recommendations due to your injury and not knowing your health status/history. I'd recommend talking to your doctor and/or physical therapist to see if these exercises are okay for you. Pain is always a sign that you should probably stop whatever it is that you're doing.

Coach Nicole this is a great video and deceptively hard!
I've got a question for you: Last October while preparing for my very first race I injured my hip. I had been having pain on it but just soldiered on (as runners tend to do) and what could have been a fairly easy recovery from a bursa inflammation winded up being SHOTS and months of physical therapy. I managed to strain every muscle attached to that hip joint in addition to damaging the bursa sac. I have only just last week returned to running and I'm taking it easy (a 1/2 mile run every other day).
While doing the butt blaster today I could really feel it in my right hip (not in a bad way) and couldn't do as many on the right as I could on the left.
Do you think this is an okay exercise for me to be doing as long as I take it easy and stop if/when it gets to be too much or painful?
Sorry for the lengthy explanation but I thought it was possible that the cause and nature of the injury may affect your opinion.

| What a great video!! Thanks so much for putting this out there! I've made this a part of my strength training sessions and do it 3xs a week now. I consider myself to be in pretty good shape, but boy were my muscles sore the next day after the first time I did it. I love how it gives you maximum results in minimum amount of time!

URBAN- Hahaha! They are hard, but as you get stronger (with practice) they'll become a little easier. But difficulty is the point--if you want to get strong, lean muscles, you've got to "overload" them so that they do in fact get stronger. Keep working at it!

| I love this workout. I have a knee injury and cannot squat or lunge but this workout tones my butt without those moves. I also love that it is on youtube and I can combine it with other workout videos in a playlist to create a total body workout.

Get on floor and put hands on floor and knees on floor bent in kinda cat position except back is straight and lift your legs up behind you up & down meaning lower legs from start point and back up with legs straight out so your facing the floor while lifting one leg at a time.
Anouther butt buster is stand against a wall and lower body up & down against the wall.

| I love the video! Have just started with P.T. and stretching and the lunges hurt my knees more so this one is not bad on them. Course I can't do it for long now but am going to keep it up since it helps all my muscles around the abdomen too! Great!

I have squatted, I have lunged, I've used a variety of contraptions, but NEVER have I felt like this. For the first time ever I actually felt something happening. The burn and fatigue are definitely there and it feels GREAT!

I love this work out, I've been doing it 2-3 times per week for about 6-7 weeks along with walking lunges and squats. Still not noticing too much of a change in the overall shape of my butt. If I poke at it, it's a little harder, but it is still conspicuously flat-shaped.
One comment though is that the stretching doesn't really do much for me. There are lots of other butt stretches that I think could be incorporated in this video instead.

WOW! It was great-but my hips kept cramping- if working L side R would cramp up... making me pause and stretch out.. also the back of my thighs hurt more than my butt does at this point???

Hi Nicole - I think the video is great. I especially like your fun, friendly, open, style. Makes me feel like I am working out with a friend.
An idea for a video I'd like to see is a stretching routine to do before and after cardio and strength training. I do stretch before and after both, but am not always sure that I am doing all the stretches I should be doing.

As we know- variety is a makor key to fitness. I think that there should be follow-up or sequel videos to the useful and popular videos we're already using. It'll help us to vary our work-outs, with Coach Nicole's help. ex. Butt Blasting II with squats, bridge-ups, etc. Also, I think a cardio workout video would be fun. I know that I really appreciate having someone to lead me through a series of exercises, and these are really helpful to me as I live rurally and so can't join a gym or go to classes.

Love those butt exercises. I've been doing them with my group exercisers for a few weeks now - the same exact ones. It was funny to see them on SP. My class loves them & report back that they certainly feel them each time we do them. I always tell the class that these are the most effective glute exercises that you can do for toning the glutes. MPH- There's no easy/convenient way to add this to your tracker. I would not count it on your cardio tracker since it is strength training. You can manually add a strength exercise to your Fitness Tracker and call it by the video name, for example or add it to your other goals- you won't get a calorie burn number for it either way, but any way you can track it so that you know you did it will work.

Nonnie- We noticed that some of our employees in the office can view the video and some can't so we are trying to upload the video and link again this morning to see if that helps.
Did you read our video-viewing tips thread that is linked from the article as well?

The butt-blasting video never gets finished loading, If it will not load I cant watch it, seems to be many things that doesnt work properly so I just have to go with the daily exercise and recipe....and hope I can do this on my own, I do not have time to run from site to site trying to get a video to work and still not get any results from any place you send me....nonnie

I am going to try this tonight with my workout. That is another problem area... between my bum and my tummy, I don't know what's worse. LOL

I just finished doing the butt-blasting workout and loved it. I really felt it in my buns, so was happy to hear we were done...lol. I will do it again in a few minutes when my muscles relax a bit. Thanks Nicole. You never disappoint us.

Glad you are enjoying the new workout, and thanks for the idea- yea I'd love to do Pilates/yoga basics. For the question about "more workouts", every video we have is in the Fitness Resource Center- there are a total of six, I believe.

I totally LOVE your workouts. Being a stay at home mom its hard to fit in exercise but its nice to know that these quick workouts are here to target thoes spots that WE wanna target and we dont have to do a long drawn out workout with hard moves that we can NEVER find the time to do!!!!

Ok what about a Pilates for dummies workout...lol Or yoga for beginners.....just throwing some ideas out there I have tried some of these workouts that they SAY are for beginners and they are always too hard for me but your workouts....NEVER!!!!

| I love your video workouts. I sit at a desk all day, and can't afford equipment or a gym membership. Do you have any more like this? I have a laptop, so I can put it right on the floor and follow along. I've been doing the office 15 minute workout and it's great too. Thanks so much for this easy way to get in some exercise.
