| I keep my speakers turned down low. I haven't heard a thing!

| Glad to know I'm not the only one that thought I was crazy... I finally figured it out and tried to check out their website... but it was incredibly slow, so I gave up.

Wow Dave. So THAT's why I'm not hearing it anymore. And here I was congratulating myself on learning to screen out superfluous stimuli, lol.
BTW, I love your signature line. I grew up in Cinci and although we now follow the Lions, we're still Bengals fans at heart.

| These ads should be off the site for now as of today.

| YES!!! I thought at first my computer was trying to tell me something--like something was wrong, lol. Then for a day or so nobody else seemed to be hearing it so I thought I was starting to hear things--yikes! I guess I'm used to it now--I hardly notice it anymore.

| I was surprised at first too, then I eventually realized it was the ads. How funny how everyone has had the same experience!

| I did the same thing as Smiles at first, thinking it was some kind of message from my web browser or something. I did eventually figure out that the sound plays when the ad for that website comes up, but I'm also getting it at times when website is nowhere on my screen. Oh well, at least I know I'm not starting to hear things nobody else hears. Then I WOULD start to worry, lol.

I bookmarked the site. I want to check it out.
At first I thought the chimes were notifying me of mail. LOL

This site is free so advertising is a fact of life. With that said, I must say that I also find the chiming sound annoying. I really resent having to turn off my computer speakers just to get rid of that sound.
I checked out the site though..so I guess advertising works! But I found it to load awfully slow on my normally fast computer.

Hi Dmweisbr, it's just the ad for eatbetteramerica.com your hearing. It also make a sound when your cursor rolls over this ad. And sometimes the ad for that paticular site starts with with one picture and then changes to another with the circles, when it changes it also makes the same sound. ~ Diana

| Am I the only one hearing this? Maybe it's something in my computer, but I keep hearing a chiming sound when SP pages load. Sometimes it's connected to certain ads, other times it happens without those ads. It's getting a little annoying. Has anyone else noticed this?
