Thanks for the feedback. I'll make sure the tech team sees this.

I do want to point out that you can probably achieve what you want by using the "Printable exercises" a little higher up on the fitness page. It takes you to a page that you can check the exercises that you want to do and it will print the exercises that you have selected. I do see how it would be easier to just do it from the 10/30 page, though.

No prob Amy, I was worried I would have sounded bad or something. Anyway, I understand what you mean, I don't like to have to change behaviors just cus the software isn't working as it should or more intuitively. Hopefully your comp. will listen :)

Aldana,

I hope I didn't offend you either. I appreciate your suggestions. I may come off a little impatient because I am a software engineer. So, I always tend to pressure the software engineers to make a better product than have users change their behaviors to use software "as is". It's probably something similiar to "doctors make the worst patients." Sorry for coming across so harshly.

Hey, I agree with you, your company should allow people to use SP at its full potential.

Sorry if I said something that bothered you, just trying to offer you some help with this.

ALDANS, thanks for the continued suggestions. I have considered that as well. Now that I have reached my goal, I'm trying to not track so much. I still rely on the SP communitity, I still eat well, and I still exercize. Since I'm not interested in performance training, I currently do not have a need to track every little calorie and exercize.

I am a creative enough adult that I can think of my own ideas how to work around issues with software. I posted this thread because I'm offering feedback on how to improve the interface so others do not have to work-around the interface. It would be so much easier for people with my account setup if we could click on one click to print out a whole predefined workout.

In addition, I have previously requested to my company to allow users to be able to use the Fitness Tracker with their existing accounts. We shouldn't all have to have 2 accounts.

Hehe!! Maybe you can just "spy" on the tracker and keep your coorp account??

ALDANS, thanks for the response. I have considered switching over accounts. I don't want to give up the history of my account though. I wish I had found out about the Fitness Tracker before I reached my goal and built up such a nice history. Haha!

Maybe you could signup to regular SP with another username?? The Fitness Tracker is really great.

Hehe, Tonia, I never thought about it that way. My company does allow us access to the food tracker. I suspect they don't let us use the Fitness Tracker because we have another non-SP Fitness Tracker that we're supposed to use. We are awarded money if we work out a certain amount consistently...crazy huh? I hear the Fitness Tracker is really nice in SP and I am envious of those who can use it.

I see what you mean now, sorry I misunderstood what you were trying to do.

I just had a look at the RC, so I see what you mean now. The thing I would be inclined to do, it go to the part "printable exercises". There is a list of all exercises and you can print some or all. Print all the ones you need for the workouts and then you can staple them together or something to make a little booklet of them. The things that aren't there, like jumping rope etc, are quite self explanitory anyway.

I think it would be a good idea though for there to be a button on those workouts like we have on the tracker...would make things far easier for those of you with no access to the tracker.

It hadn't occured to me that there were people who couldn't access the full site! I guess the theory is that if you spend all your time tracking, you aren't working!

Tonia, I don't have access to the Fitness Tracker in SP if that is what you are talking about. My company sponsors my access to SP and does not allow the fitness tracker.

In the fitness section of the resource center, there are 10 and 30 minute workouts listed under specialty workouts. I would like to be able to print this workouts with a single click. Is there anyway to do that? I don't see a print button anywhere on those pages.

Do you mean you are printing each ex individually, or do you mean you want a more consise version than the full page per page ex?

If the former, at the very bottom of the fitness page is a button "print exercise demos" this will print all the exercises in your workout.

It would be nice to have the option to print any of the 10 or 30 minute workouts with a single click instead of having to print the individual exercizes that make up the workout.
