I usually just open my calculator on the computer while I am entering food, and just divide top number of fraction by the bottom number; for example, 5/8, just divide 5 by 8 and you will get your decimal. Here is another example if you are not a math person: I use a lot of the Turkey Store ground turkey which is 20 oz per package and I divide 20 by whatever number of servings in the dish I am making to get the portion size. Hope this helps.

1/4=.25
3/4=.75
1/3=.33
2/3=.66
1/6=.16
