i dotn have any times during the day or night that is slow. im lucky i guess. i have cable service. i track often but on days i cant i just do it later to the best i can but i also preplan tomorrow and log in when i do have time so if busy the next day im ready! i also eat small meals breakfast a snack, lunch a snack, dinner and sometimes a snack. i do home daycare and i found it easier to not pick up extra if i allow myself the calories to eat when the kids do so im not intised to go off my plan. i dont use the predone meal planner all the time.

Have you seen the printable resources? There's a Nutrition Tracker on which you can record your food and then enter it when time allows.

Thanks... I've been on the site since April and it has, unfortunately, steadily gotten worse. I'm glad more people are finding "The Spark", just wish it didn't make the rest of us "lag". Waiting for a more oppontune time to log in what I've eaten causes me to "forget" some of the stuff, as I eat small meals throughout the day instead of 3 squares.

I can imagine that things can get quite busy as community members are checking SparkPeople emails, posting to the boards, and generally fully utilizing all of the great features of SparkPeople. I use broadband, and even 5 minutes of difference at lunch time makes a big difference in the response / feel of the site. Soooo, when I am time pressed, I just make my adjustments, and pick and choose my time to log on.
Frankly, I would be happy to pay for a "premium log-on" service because I am pretty satisfied with what I have seen at SparkPeople so far, and there are times that I would need to use the service during busy times. But for now, I can adapt my login time.

I get the same result whether I try broadband or DSL, laptop or desktop, all with plenty of RAM, as I said. If your tech's have any suggestions, I'd appreciate an e-mail. I like the site and don't want to have to find an "imitator" elsewhere to accomplish my goals. ((( sigh ))) Thanks, though, for your attention.

S,

My guess is that it's your Internet connection, or maybe if you're trying to access the site during busy times (like lunch time), it's probably a little slower. I'm online all day with different computers and don't typically have a problem.

I'm not sure who to address this question to but... you're an expert: Why does it take SO LONG for the pages on your site to load up? Is there something I can do to improve performance? I thought the problem was my laptop, then I accessed the site from two other different computers and servers with the same result (all with plenty of avail. RAM)! Hard to keep track of my info during the work day when it becomes so time-consuming! HELP!

Have you actually given Coach Jen a day off? There hasn't been much sign of her today.
