Searching sparkpeople doesn't look at the sparkpages, just articles and messages boards....although you could find a post by them to click their link...a little drawn out, though...especially if people don't refer to them by their user name.
I did request a search facility for sparkpages a while ago..perhaps if enough people want it, we will get one!

| Yep, that's part of the problem, if they don't have a page they won't come up. A Spark Page is optional.

| I had a hard time finding people in the directory as well, I typed the name in exactly the same and found nothing. Do they have to have a page made in order to be found? Can you register without making a page?

Thanks, CRAZYMAMA, that's a little easier than what I was doing which was going to the letter and sifting through the pages

| i even tried looking myself up and unless i tell the person my email address and they remember it they cant find me a search by name would be good and if it listed partials or even sound like would be better

| That kinda works. I only know part of the persons screen name and that didn't pull them up. It'd be helpful to be able to have advanced search options--maybe wildcards or something.

| Do you see the "search spark page" area at the upper/top area of this message? Put the name in there, and you should be able to find your member.

I'd like to be able to put in a member name and pull up their Spark Page.
