First, everyone who feels uncomfortable about his forum where people are pointing out how to make SP better - don't feel bad! Feel good that the people who created/work at SP are so in touch with us as to offer up a whole forum for us to make suggestions on how to improve the site. I think that's great and I come here often. I think there's a problem in our society with the challenging authority/speaking your mind thing - and SP lets us have a say and actually takes US seriously.
Otherwise, I have to say thanks too. I joined a month ago and I feel so much better now than I did then. It feels good to be back on track again - thanks for making the site so useful and fun!

| ....everything. Every time I think this site offers everything possible, SP comes up with something else. You are all terrific!

I agree. I was reading all the suggestions from everyone and starting to feel a little uncomfortable. I am new here (day 5) but I'm thrilled with everything I've discovered so far. I used to pay to have LESS features than I've found here. I LOVE SPARKPEOPLE!

I just wanted to chime in and add my thanks for a well-done site. I've begun and abandoned hundreds of weight loss efforts over the years. For the first time, in a long time, I am sticking too it--and the credit goes to the motivation and excellent resources available on Spark.
I haven't made a lot of progress, YET, but I am moving in the right direction. Slow and steady wins the race, right? Spark is helping me make long overdue lifestyle changes.
THANK YOU!

Thank you for addressing every area that impacts weight control. I realized this morning that emotional eating is no longer a problem for me! A calorie-reduction only program couldn't have done that.
I love all the new emoticons, but could we get one that says Thank You as I find so many reasons to want to thank people here?

As I was reading the "What's Up at Sparkpeople" postings, I realized that we were all doing a little bit of "this site is great but...." I just wanted to take a few minutes out to say THANK YOU! There are lots of little (and not so little) tweaks that I would love to see happen, but the basic site, the concepts and the people and the energy are just so great - I'd much rather have that than a lot of bells and whistles (although I have to admit that bells and whistles can be very nice)
So here it is - Thank you Sparkpeople for being here Thank you Sparkpeople for being FREE! Thank you Sparkpeople for an awesome goal setting and tracking feature Thank you Sparkpeople for the really cool/scary nutrition tracker Thank you Sparkpeople for keeping everything so positive and motivational Thank you Sparkpeople for debunking some of the myths I considered fact Thank you Sparkpeople for being family-friendly, single-friendly, vegetarian-friendly, woman-friendly, man-friendly, just overall cool-friendly Thank you Sparkpeople for the cheesy points that I can't seem to stay away from Thank you Sparkpeople for cheap and easy exercises Thank you Sparkpeople for being Sparkpeople
