This has actually been something on my mind about my oldest son since he's off-the-charts in terms of height and well as thinness, and exercises constantly (like I was and did at his age). ...but he looks like he won't even MAKE IT! ("That Mom is starving him, I'm sure of it, tsk, tsk"). ...but I guess that's how I was at that age too.
Anyhow, it's good to have the weblink. I had a long talk with the pediatrician this last visit about my son's multiple other issues, including weight, and of course he says (old school, tossing his curly white hair and giving a genuinely reassuring slight smile), "He'll be just fine Mom".
I haven't seen people lately due to a virus. I'm rambling. Ooops. 'Nother reason I'm thankful for SP.

J,
Thanks for the feedback. Actually, your child's nutrient and calorie ranges are going to vary depending on the recommendations of your peditrician. So we wouldn't be able to give a "standard" program like we can with adults. There's a good website for info called www.kidshealth.org that you might want to check out.
Hope that helps!

| I'd love to be able to set up a way to monitor what I am feeding my toddler. We have had trouble getting her to gain weight, and I'd love to know what the calorie requirements are for children. Something like this would be beneficial ... not for making moms police their kids weight, but for helping us make sure we are feeding our kids enough of the right stuff. I really think that it would be a great addition to the site.
