Thanks for writing! With the sorting of messages....we actually used to have them sorted the other way, with the oldest messages first. However, most people who used the boards for some time requested and preferred to have the most recent message first, to be able to quickly checkup on new posts.
But it may make sense, like you said, to have a link to the last page/message. We'll take a look at this.

 I can't believe I read the whole thing!
Having nothing better to do last night (hehe) and wanting to get to know folks, I read through the entire guys lounge thread.
A couple of ?s, could you put the page buttons also on the top? Since I read from oldest to newest, I had to go back down to the bottom of the page every time to go to the next page.
And, don't know how hard this would be to program, could you make a page button to go directly to the end, instead of having to page through all pages two at a time? I think it took 20 minutes to get to the first page of thread.
Reading what has gone on before really helps in getting a better feel for what Sparkpeople is. And its fantastic! Thank you.
