I just don't even know how to respond to that! I can handle this, growth doesn't happen with out change, even mistakes. You guys do great work and are wonderfully receptive to feedback. I enjoy the process.

Just so you know, 3 people have been FIRED over this fiasco. Haha :)
With the growth of the site, we need to look at how the boards are done. I'll keep you in the loop on this project and ask for ideas.

Well, except this is my last post, then I'm gonna go work on a quilt.
I think you're right about forcing the intros to one place. Can you remove the option to start a new thread? Have one welcome thread, and the individual week threads, then not allow any more?

Looks like we're in danger of messing things up for one of our most prolific posters! ;)
Yeah, it seemed like a lot more people were posting their own threads instead of using the "forced to the top" ones, so we thought it'd be easier for everyone and create a more motivating discussion if the active posts were nearer to the top.
The topics we left at the top are ones that everyone seemed to enjoy and mention the most.
We've really appreciated your help on that board over the weeks, Melissa, I hope this doesn't dissuade you from continuing to use it. You've offered many great insights and really helped a lot of people get off to strong starts with the program and in the community.
