Did some belly dancing when I was younger. Did alot of things when I was younger. I stopped to raise children,, something I should not have done! IS STOP!

I love the dance, the workout. It is just beautiful, thing to do. It is a real work out along with hula.

I'VE ALWAYS BEEN CURIOUS ABOUT THESE CLASSES - - CUZ I'M SURE THEY'D BE A FUN WORKOUT - - NOT TO MENTION DH WOULD PROBABLY LIKE THE RESULTS TOO! LOL

I love the classes...I feel so free in class, plus, I am having fun, learning new movements and losing weight in the process.
I can't wait for tomorrow.

My whole family belly dances! Including myself (although, not on stage with this body, hehe)
You are right, it is a very intense workout! Make sure that if your instructor hasn't already told you to be careful eating and drinking too much right before class and some movements like belly rolls should only be done in few minute increments. BC you are using body parts and muscles that usually are not in use you can cause problems with bowel movements if you have too full of a stomach/ digestive tract. (Trust me on this one!)

Hey Guys - I went to free Belly Dancing class on Saturday. I loved it so much and I decided to pay for a eight sessions.
Let me tell you guy something... I though this class was going to be a breeze, but boy was I wrong. Belly Dancing is very exhausting. You used muscles that I have never used before, and there were a lot of arm movements. My arms felt like Jello after an hour of dancing.
If there are any classes in you areas, you should definitely check it out!
