| I am so glad it (spell check) will be back soon. See my home language is not English (it is Afrikaans. I am from South Africa)so spare me the embarrassment of spelling mistakes.See I'm doing it with my dictionary in hand.

Hi Oma!
I think it's okay to take something for the pain (as long as your doctor would clear you for that- always have to add that caveot!) If it's a muscle strain, it might help, vs. regular muscle soreness that I would say to let work itself out.
Be careful not to push too hard, especially if it's causing you pain and difficulty walking!

Whew! Thanks, Jen. ~chuckle~ I would have understood if that space in the system was needed for other things, but I'm tickled it is only on hiatis (which is probably misspelled).
Thank you for your article No Pain = BIG Gain! Mon. & Tues. I went on 2 mile walks pushing to cut my mile time from 30 to 20 min. There seems to be a muscle strain through the top of my left foot into mid-calf which is making me limp slightly. I am staying active, walking 1 mile at a comfortable pace (which is now about 25-28 min!) and doing housework, but I won't push a hard, fast walk again until the pain goes away.
I have always avoided taking meds for anything, except a migrane headache. Should I take something or just let the pain work out?
Thanks! oma
