We did have to make a few changes related to this last week, but we are hoping to add them back in the near future.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Scratch my previous post. It isn't working for me now either. I think something must have been changed when SP was last down for maintenance. I do existing food groups that I created about a week ago with items from my favorites that I was able to get a drop down menu for when I did a search, but they don't show up in the search now.

Don't click on add a food. Enter a word from the title of the food you want from your favorites list in the search box.

Rileyra, I'm with you on this one. I wasn't able to do this either.

Is this a bug, or was this feature taken away?

When you go to create a new food grouping, then click "add a food" there's no way to use the foods you've already added to your favorites- using the search button isn't bringing up foods from my list, just the database.

You can already do that. Click on add a food and then food grouping and in the search box put the item that you have added to your favorites. For instance, I use a lot of a local store brand which I added to my favorites. Whenever I want to use one of these items in a food group I just enter Albertson's (the name of the grocery store) in the search box and all of my favorites are listed for me to add to my food group.

Katie,

Have you thought about saving your favorites as a food group? For instance, if you eat the same breakfast a lot, save all of those items as a group and label it breakfast- then you only have to pull up one item for that meal.

Does that help?

Yes, please... I have been using the food groupings to track nutrients in my recipes- and I love this feature, but a favorites button would make it so much easier.

Hello,

I love using the online way to enter foods. Because I'm on a tight budget I eat a lot of the same things, many of which I entered myself then saved to my favorites. I was wondering if on the food groupings when you go to add a food if you could choose foods you had entered in your favorites? It would help alot if I didn't have to re enter all the stuff I've already entered.

Just an idea..:o)

Katie
