Re-Fresh by Common Market (Seattle hip-hop group with MC RaScion). Lyrics carry a lot of motivation for me, and this one has some great ones for getting back on track (it's my start-up song right now, the one I listen to to get going with my walk in the early morning). Plus it's got a really nice lilting horn track. Lyrics sample:
Deep breath, I request a requiem for apathy Momentarily lost hope, but now it's back in me Temporarily felt defeated by the game Then the light came just after the nightingale sang

I got this song and many others from the KEXP Song of the Day podcast. It's a great way to keep up with contemporary music.
Cheers Jennifer

I just worked out with my tunes blaring and I am curious what songs are out there that I would love to work out to. My latest favorite (which will change tomorrow) is Sheryl Crow's Love is Free- I love the beat, the message and it's just a feel good song!
