I figured if you had a way to do this it would have been done:) Thanks Coach Dean for the response.

SparkPeople does keep getting better and better!

There are technical reasons why we can't give team administrators the ability to delete posts, and it's not possible for us to move threads from one forum to another. Fortunately, most members get the hang of the message boards pretty quickly, and the old threads sink to the bottom of the lists.

Hope this helps.

Why is SparkPeople not granting SparkTeam Administrators the option of deleting old, inactive posts and threads or the option of moving posts to the proper forum?

I've been browsing through several of the teams and I noticed that there are lots of old, neglected and non relevant posts.

I think allowing these privileges would make it easier for Team Administrators to keep their teams current, less confusing and more inviting to new and old SparkPeople members.

Is or will SP ever consider these options?

On a similar subject, I couldn't believe when I went to post in this forum (and just about every forum here too) how many people are posting in the wrong place, such as, "Tyra show", "What is your favorite place on earth?" and "i quit smoking!!" Why aren't these posts being moved to the appropriate message board forums?

I completely understand and appreciate that this is a free site but I think SP is due for a "Clean House" cleaning:)
