Try eating something small to start out with and then add to it once you are used to eating breakfast.

You have been given some good info here. You do need to make sure you are eating more. Your body needs more nutrients AND calories because as a teen you are going through rapid growth and development. By not eating enough you are not only slowing your metabolism, but also not allowing proper growth and development and you are causing your body to lose muscle mass and hang onto more fat reserves. A teen needs a minimum of 1800 calories each day just for the basic functions (heart beating, lungs expanding, muscles contracting) and 2000 if you are active.

You should be eating 5-6 small meals/snacks throughout the day, including breakfast. When you eat breakfast, that helps get your metabolism going for the day.

Some things that will help:

1) Begin eating 6 small meals/snacks each day each consisting of 300-350 calories.
2) Focus on nutrition at each meal/snack - whole grains, fruits, veggies, low fat dairy, lean meats/nuts/beans.
3) Make sure each meal and snack is a healthy balance of protein sources (lean meats/beans/nuts and low fat dairy) and carbohydrates (fruits, veggies and whole grains).
4) Save the "junk" like fried foods and sweets like soda, pies, cakes, cookies, candy and cake for the special occasions of life.
5) Make sure you are active daily for at least 30 minutes if possible and include strength training several times a week to tone and shape your body.

This plan will allow you to have the nutrients you need for growth and development and will help you have energy for life, will improve your outlook on things and will help your find your bodies best weight and shape.

you are NOT eating enough which is putting your body into starvation mode which is why you aren't losing weight. Get your eating on track before you try to lose weight, once you start eating more for a lil while, you can try to lose weight. It will be much easier that way- and healthier
