You need to find alternatives to running because you can't let the winter or any other factors halt your progress. You can try other things that you can do in even your room:
-dancing
-jogging on the spot
-CAREFULLY going up and down the stairs, if you have them in your house
-jump rope/skipping
-all of the above in one minute bursts

You can still do your running, but your body could be getting used to the running now so try and change it up e.g.
-do interval running e.g. sprint as hard as you possibly can for one minute followed by two minutes walking/recovery time

if you stick with your healthy habits, you will definitely see a difference. maybe not immediately, but GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT! just look at the bright side: you are making mature and safe decisions about your weight. that's more than i can say for about 1/2 the girls in my school (who all think its COOL to have anorexia).

Did you continue to exercise in the winter even though you couldn't run? Are you eating enough calories AND nutrients for your body? A teen needs a minimum of 1800 calories just for the everyday functions such as your heart beating, lungs expanding, muscles contracting, etc. If you are active you should be eating at least 2000 calories a day. Eating less than that will slow your metabolism and will not allow your body to grow and develop properly.

You may want to use the Nutrition Tracker for a few days up to a week to see where you are with your nutrition just to make sure you are getting the proper nutrition. Also, make sure you are exercising 3-5 days a week 30-60 minutes each of those days. Doing cardio will help you burn fat and strength training will help you get muscle which will give you a lean "hot" body.

you can do this!

i am NOT seeing any change; but i guess i just have to hope for the best and just keep doing what i'm doing to accomplish what i want to .. 'cause i love running, and with winter out of the way .. hopefully i'll see the changes, right?
