Yeah, I had gained about three pounds when I started, but I'm getting it off.

Your body is getting used to eating the proper amount of calories and nutrients. So you need to give it more time. Everyone's body reacts differently with weight loss. Weight loss is rarely consistent and does take time. Your body will get used to receiving the proper calories and nutrients and will stop storing it after it realizes that you are no longer starving it from what it needs. Right now it probably still thinks that you are not going to give it what it needs so it is storing it as reserves.

Also, don't just use the scale as your only way of measuring your success. Take measurements, notice how your clothes fit, how you feel, how your fitness improves, etc. These are all ways to see how well you are doing. It sounds like you are getting on track as you said that you feel thinner! So keep up the healthy habits and you will see results! You do need to be a little patient though - I know that is not what you want to hear, but it is true.

You can do this!

I started eating more to increase my metabolism. I have gained 10 pounds. I don't feel any fatter, actually i feel thinner, but it can't possibly be muscle. It hasn't been that long that I started eating more. I don't weigh myself that often, maybe once a week. I keep thinking i lost weight because i feel thinner but every time i step on the scale i weigh more. I don't know what to do!!
