| School teams are great too. I joined my schools badminton team and three times a week I get a fun 30 minute workout. Plus we get to travel to other towns nearby. It's really fun and worth it.

Jewelz - You could go to the mall or somewhere like that in your area and walk. For the days that it is not snowing or hailing, you could just bundle up and go outside. You could also do strength training, yoga or Pilates in your apartment without too much bouncing around.

Most people are busy, but you have to make/find time to do this for yourself. Find some exercises/activities that you enjoy doing. I'm sure you can squeeze some fitness time into your schedule somewhere.
As for not having a scale, that is fine, they aren't the only way to measure your success and progress. The scale also doesn't always give you the full picture of what's going on either. You can use other ways to measure your progress and success by noticing how you feel, how your clothes fit, how your fitness level improves, by how your clothes fit, taking measurements, etc.
Here are some articles from the Resource Center that may be helpful:
A Teen's Guide to Nutrition & Healthy Eating A Teen's Guide to Fitness & Exercise A Teen's Guide to Weight and Body Confidence Talk Yourself into Reaching Your Goals Start a Small Streak Use Smart goal setting Techniques Use Measurements Besides the Scale
Also, here is what we suggest for the best plan: 1) Begin eating 6 small meals/snacks each day each consisting of 300-350 calories. 2) Focus on nutrition at each meal/snack - whole grains, fruits, veggies, low fat dairy, lean meats/nuts/beans. 3) Make sure each meal and snack is a healthy balance of protein sources (lean meats/beans/nuts and low fat dairy) and carbohydrates (fruits, veggies and whole grains). 4) Save the "junk" like fried foods and sweets like soda, pies, cakes, cookies, candy and cake for the special occasions of life. 5) Make sure you are active daily for at least 30 minutes if possible and include strength training several times a week to tone and shape your body.
This plan will allow you to have the nutrients you need for growth and development and will help you have energy for life, will improve your outlook on things and will help your find your bodies best weight and shape.

Try doing several 10 minute sessions throughout the day. You don't have to do all your fitness at once. You can make it work for you. Take a 10 minute study/fitness break when you are doing homework. Here are some articles that may help:
