That's fine if your doctor told you to eat that amount, but it is not ok for you to tell others they can't lose weight on 1800-2000 calories. The nutrition guidelines are based on the AHA accepted guidelines for teens. You are correct though, that everyones needs are different, but you are not correct about the minimum given on the site not working to lose weight. The guidelines have been well researched and widely known and based on BMR.
Also, when you drop your calories, you are not able to get all the proper nutrients that are needed for the rapid growth and development that is happening for teens.
So please be careful when issuing advice on our site.

My doctor told me, when I was 20 pounds heavier, to eat between 1500 and 1600 calories a day. 1800-2000 was too much. Everyone's calorie needs are different; there's no way you can lose weight eating more than 1800 calories a day unless your BMI is really high.

You shouldn't be editing your calorie goals. Your body needs 1800 as a minimum for the proper growth and development along with the basic daily functions like breathing, muscles contracting, etc. So you shouldn't be eating fewer than that anyways.
I did check your account and unfortunately there is not a way for you to edit those any further. You can try to edit your weight goal page or your Fitness Tracker page to have it reset your calorie intake to what it should be. otherwise, you may want to reset your account. To do this: 1. Go to Account/Email Preferences (located on the top left of your Start page). 2. Click the “Reset Goals” button. 3. All goals and everything you have tracked will be removed if you reset your goals (including all past exercise and food tracking data), but by restarting your program, you will not lose your SparkPoints.

I changed the amount of calories I should be consuming; I made it smaller. I found, however, that the amount I put is too limiting. When I go back to change it back to the original range, I cannot edit it. Is there any way I can edit it?
