Yes, but you'll also be losing muscle mass and you'd plateau eventually anyways. You should always exercise, even when you do meet your goal. An active overweight person is healthier than a sedentary thin person. Even though some thin people appear to have little fat, that's really all they have, and then they have no muscle. You don't want to be soft! You want to be firm!

if you do not exercise will the weight still come off?
