I think that it will be better for you to break it up and doing one, maybe two sections tops per day, but if you do 2 one day, don't overlap the next day - just do 1 the next day.

I would also suggest that you do some cardio. While that could be considered circuit training, you do want to make sure you are getting different cardio in too. It will help you with losing fat in general and strengthen your heart and lungs.

It's actually a bunch, and you can click on the one you want to do. I've actually been doing all of them in one shot without resting because I thought that was considered circuit training. I like the idea of doing one section each day though because its really exhausting doing all of it! = ]

I'm glad I could help!

For your video, is it one workout or are you using several? Maybe I'm not understanding, but it sounded like it was just one, but now I'm wondering if it is more. If it is more, it isn't as bad for your muscles since you can alternate the videos by doing them different days (ex. Monday - arms, Tuesday - abs, Wednesday - butt, Thursday - arms, etc.).

Either way, I would recommend that you do some other workouts too to make sure you are getting a variety of exercises. The Fitness Resource Center is a great place to get some. Coach Nicole actually has made many videos that you can watch and aren't that long, but are very effective. Plus there is a Workout Generator and more in there that can help you. So check that out too! It is all a part of our site and still free!

Hope this helps!

Whoops, I didn't realize I wasn't eating enough and that I should work different muscle groups. Thanx = ]

Do you think that I could add the variety thing by doing the workouts in reverse order? There are three - one for arms, abs, and butt. I've been doing it in the same sequence, but maybe I could do the butt workout first, then abs, then arms? Idk if that counts as variety,

You have been given some good advice here. I would like to make a few additions to that. If you are truly working out that much, you should be eating more around 2000 calories a day rather than 1800. 1800 is needed for the basic functions and is for a sedentary person, which you are not. You need to give your body more calories to give you more energy to support your activity. Also, you mentioned you are doing a toning dvd and it sounds like you are doing it everyday. A couple things about that: 1) If you are doing it everyday, you need to give your body at least 1 day of rest a week AND should not be doing strength training for the same muscles to 2 days in a row. You need to give your muscles time to rest and repair in between workouts. Being that you are doing a dvd, you are working the same muscles each day and not giving them time to rest or repair. 2) I believe this was mentioned already, but you need to switch it up. Your body and muscles get used to doing the same thing after a while and it will become efficient at doing those exercises and in return you will burn less calories. So you will want to increase your intensity and do a variety of exercises too.

As for the chocolate and sweets, I have a hard time with that too. But it is best to try and limit sweets to the special occasions in life rather than everyday. I know it is a tough habit to change, but I'm sure you can work it into your healthy lifestyle.

I don't blame you. Just switch up the foods you eat and the exercises you do so you don't end up in a plateau. Keep your body guessing!

For measurements you can do you chest, waist[where you bend], hips, right leg, left leg, right arm, left arm. I also include underneath my chest and across the hip bones. Some people even do neck.

I try to drink lots of water, but really .. 8 cups a day?!?!? Yeah right. haha. I do my best with that though.
I haven't measured my body though because I don't know where to measure.
I should probably start doing that though so I don't get frustrated if I am losing fat.
And I'm not sure if it's muscle gain because I don't really feel a change, but that could just be me. I have a history of denying it when I succeed for some reason. I think it might be because I don't want to get all happy and excited and then hit a plateau or something. = /

If you ARE doing something wrong, it's eating too much chocolate, though I understand that COMPLETELY.

Actually, have you measured your body? The weight not budging actually might be fat loss and muscle gain. Are you drinking plenty of water?

I eat about 1800 calories a day.
I work out to a toning dvd for about an hour a day. This DVD also gets my heart rate up so I count it as cardio and strength in one shot.
I try to eat healthy most of the time, but once in a while my calories come from sweets and chocolate (oooh do I love chocolate).
I eat lean cuisine for dinner a lot.
Not losing much weight.
What am I doing wrong
