Do you exercise by yourself? If you do, find an exercise buddy. It makes the time spent go so much faster and it's hard not to do it when you have someone to push you. Also, is your exercise something you enjoy? Do what you enjoy doing and it won't seem like such a hassle to do it. If it's something you don't like, try to make it more fun. These things are what I do and they help me a lot.

I have that problem to. I will do really good for like a week then I will stop. I really want to be slim but I don't have the motivation to keep going. Same with my eating habits. I usually snack and don't eat proper meals. That's a big problem with me trying to lose weight. Any advice?

Thanks, that was really good advice! Yeah, I've been trying to think about how I'll feel when the weight comes off, and that's helping a little.

I definitely have that problem. I just try to force myself to get up and do it anyway. I try to think about how great I'll feel when I lose the weight, or even just how great I'll feel after I get off my butt and exercise, even if it's just a little bit. If I really don't want to get up I just do it anyway and decide that I need to exercise for just 10 minutes. Of course, by the time I work out for 10 minutes I usually feel like working out longer and go the whole 30 mins to an hour, so it works out in the end. Half the battle is just getting yourself up, by then you'll usually do it. Realize that it's better to do something, ANYTHING, than to sit and do nothing and feel guilty about it later. I tell myself that, too. It takes work, but eventually you'll get to the point that either you won't dread exercising or you'll grow to like it. I've always hated it, and now I actually find myself looking forward to it. It's crazy. Just think of all the benefits and how great you'll feel right after the workout and how proud you'll be of yourself for actually following through. And you'll feel even better once the weight starts coming off. Anyway, good luck, and remember, half the battle is just getting off the couch. And how hard is that in reality? :) It's hard at first, but it'll get easier as you progress, I promise ;)

Most of my friends are thin, and I feel like the odd one out. I'm really trying hard, but sometimes I just don't want to get off my butt and exercise. Does anyone else have this problem ?
