It is not healthy for a teen to lose more than 1 pound a week on average. Your body is still growing and developing and it needs the proper nutrients and energy for it to do so in a healthy way. You should be eating at least 1800 calories a day - including fruits and veggies and exercising 3-5 days a week. You do need to give yourself a rest day.

As for the fruits and veggies - keep trying different things. I'm sure you will find something that you like and/or can tolerate. Otherwise, check into some of the V8 products. The easiest option is to select something like V8 Fusion for juice selection each day. An 8 oz glass provides a full serving of both veggies and fruit.

Another option is to include pureed veggies in prepared foods. Pureed cauliflower in mac and cheese or pureed green beans in ground meat etc.

Another options is to select fresh veggies like carrots or pea pods and dip them in ranch dressing.

I would recommend that you take a look at these articles:

Can someone give me some tips as to how I can lose wieght quickly without overdoing it? Also does this seem like a good diet plan to you all.I'm exercising almost everyday(somedays I'm just to busy) and I'm eating healthy as much as I can, but I'm not eating very many fruits and vegies cause I don't really like that stuff.
