the minimum amount of calories you should be eating is 1,800. I think doing 20-30+ minutes of cardio a few times a week in order to maintain a healthy lifestlye is a good idea. You seem like your at a healthy BMI & weight--maybe add some strength training (2-3 times a week) if you simply want to "tone up".
remember--sparkteens is a healthy lifestyle change, not a diet!

| Hey!! :) I'm 5'7" and weigh 140 pounds but i want to lose 20 pounds. ok so heres my plan.........I burn 500 calories a day running and i eat anywher from 1400- to 1550 cal. is that good?
