You have been given some good advice!

I wanted to mention that you might want to join the sparkteam for vegetarians and vegans so you can talk to other vegetarians and get more tips there.

Hi! I had the same problem, my mumdidnt let me become a vegitarian until i was 12, although I had wanted to since I was about 9 or 10. I've been a vegitarian for 3 years now, and she, and the rest of the family support me, although they all do tease me abit!

Just explain to your parents that you don't want to become skinny, you just don't like the idea of eating meat anymore.

If they still don't agree, why don't you make a deal with them - like a trial month, or fortnight, to show them that your serious, but not dieting ?

Or agree to different suppliments to meat, like quorn, or eating fish?

Or only eating meat once a week until they agree?

Just make sure your eating balance meals, and hopefully they will become more understanding
Good Luck !

this could be bad right?
im not sure my parents would go too crazy over the whole thing i try to view as a lifestyle change.
i tried to become a vegetarian, but they thought i was starving myself...by eating vegetables.

anyway i could try to get them to support me?
