It is okay to have a snack, try to find a healthy version though. Also, try finding an activity that will keep you busy while you are relaxing and watching tv. Something to keep your hands busy and that will allow you to relax.
You may want to check out the Nutrition Resource Center. Here are a couple articles from there that may help:

| Another thing to add... I also fin dmyself slipping to the pantry whenever I've worked out. I always feel so great and skinny after my work-outs that my "evil side' tells me it's okay to have a snack. But like I said, that "one snack" turns into several snacks!

| My set snacks are split up through the day so I can have them whenever I want. They are 2 cups of V8 Fusion, 12 baby carrots, and then a Yoplait yogurt that's around 100 calories. Maybe you could try setting out snacks, but not giving you specific times when you want to eat them, so it's still pretty lenient. Good luck!

| Hi ya'll. Lately I've been noticing that whenever I'm "relaxing" (watching TV, reading, etc.) I always tend to slip over to the pantry and grab a snack.. Or four... Got any tips? All are greatly appreciated!
