Do your best to take smaller portions. It's okay to enjoy some of it, just watch your portions. If you over indulge some, try to get some extra exercise in if you can. Just remember, we are all human and it's okay to enjoy some treats from time to time as long as it doesn't become an everyday type of habit.

Don't forget to check out the Nutrition Resource Center for some tips on portions and other ideas on nutrition.

I have the same problem, and I'm not very good at dealing with it.

I try to eat less of each food, or whatever, than what I'd normally eat, so that when you add it up it's not that much of a difference. It's hard though, and I fail quite often.

I am one of those people who DOESN'T look forward to the this time of year. Sure i get decent presents for both Hannukah AND Christmas, but the food....tons and tons of food. I've already gone back to 139 pounds...i started out here at 140....And i have been trying to stay back from the sweets but its SOOOO HARD. and i still have to endure New Years....and my family is HUGE on new years dinner. oh no...HELP!!!!
