It is possible! Eating a healthy, balanced diet and getting exercise will help you meet your goals. Start out with some smaller goals and try to not focus so much on the weight. Working on smaller goals will add up to the bigger goals and the weight will come off. Here are some articles that may help:

Why do you say there is no way you can loose 50 pounds? Just take it a pound at a time. You will get there.

i can't even believe that i have gotten to be like 55 pounds overweight. which has put me in the obese range..how scary is that? there is no way i am going to be able to loose 50 pounds. please help me.
