It is not likely that you actually gained 5 pounds over the holiday. Our weight fluctuates within a few pounds daily as it is. Plus, depending on how much you ate, how much sodium content was in the foods you ate can make your body hold onto more water.
It's okay to have some holiday foods. As Katie mentioned, keep your portions in control and you will be fine. Also, don't forget to get exercise and drink more water. Do you have your program set up to maintain weight? Are you eating within the calorie ranges recommended for you?

| Load up on the healthy stuff and use portion control on the stuff that you can't pass up. You should enjoy the holidays and not have to worry too much about gaining weight. :]

| I started sparkteens two weeks ago. I was good about everything until this week, which was Thanksgiving. I don't want to lose weight, I just want to maintain what I weigh now. I hardly ate anything when my family came over, yet I gained about 5 pounds. Now I'm worried with the Holidays approaching and all. Yikes!
