It's great that you have been walking with your dad! Weight loss is not always immediate, it takes some time. walking is great, but you will want to do a variety of exercises too (cardio & strength training). Also, make sure you are within your calorie range that the program gave you.
Also, don't focus so much on the weight. Use other ways of measuring your progress. Notice how you feel, how your clothes fit, take measurements, etc. The scale doesn't always show us what is really going on.
