I know it's hard dealing with a suicide. My ex almost killed himself twice. It's a very stressful situation to be in and it really affects how you think of yourself. To keep up your self esteem, make sure you talk to people. If you're feeling down, talk to a close friend and ask them for motivation and support. Wear clothes that make you feel good about the way look right now and don't compare yourself to others, even if it's hard. Listen to uplifting music when you get ready every morning and tell yourself that you ARE beautiful.
(I really like the song "Big Girls-You are Beautifu" by Mika, it's really upbeat)

| My friend just recently commited suicide so it made me take a hard look at the way my life is going, and during my reflection I wasn't proud of what I saw in the mirror (everything else was just fine). walking down the halls of my school is like walking into a town of skinny people...and I'M the one who stands out. I know that I'm overweight and I want to do something about it (thus the reason why I joined). But while I'm in the process of making this giant leap I need to keep my self-esteem up so I don't get too hard on myself. Does anybody have any suggestions?
