1200 calories a day is not enough for teens, especially active ones! Eating too little will slow down your metabolism and make you more likely to gain weight than lose/maintain it.

Be sure to follow your nutrition plan given by sparkTeens (a minimum of 1,800 calories per day).

And don't be so hard on yourself. No one has the perfect body, and even though YOU might think you look flabby, others probably do not. You might not be losing weight b/c you're already at a healthy weight. But eating right and exercising (especially strength and cardio) can help you reshape and tone up what you do have, even if the scale doesn't change.

Yes, three days a week I do strength training, but with light weights.
And I try to consume about 1200 calories a day.

I am not overweight or obese, but as every other teenager I am unhappy with my appearance. I have flabby arms and belly fat which bothers me the most.

I run for 30 minutes almost every day! But so far I have not lost ANY weight?

I am feeling so defeated =[[
What do I do??

And I change up the routine and everything when I run, so it's not like my body is getting used to the work out.

Please help
