That is an extremely strange coincidence Feathera. I started Spark January 27th almost exactly a month after you. I went from a 7ish-9ish size down to a usually 5, but sometimes still a 7. It's encouraging to find someone else with the same problems I've been having. I haven't measured myself since the end of March so I'll have to do that again also. I used to weigh myself everyday, but since I haven't lost anything since my first week now I usually weigh myself once a month. I guess I'm do for a weigh in also ;)

We're living parallel lives here!

I've been on ST since December 29, 2007 and I've only lost 3 pounds! However, I did go from a 9ish-7 to having one pair of size 5s in my closet. I haven't measured myself in 4 months, but I've finally bought a ribbon tape measure, so I guess I'll do that tomorrow along with my weigh-in. Sparkmail me anytime. :)

Congratulations! Your really doing great. Not only have you dropped two sizes but you've probably really toned up. You should be proud of yourself!

Shaylie,

The fact that you've gone down 2 sizes is great! I'd rather lose inches than pounds any day b/c that's what makes you look smaller. The number on the scale is just a number.

Keep up the good work!

You've probably added muscle but burned off fat. Muscle takes up less room but weighs more. If you have lost inches and sizes, I wouldn't be too worried.

I joined Spark at the end of January and in my first week I lost three pounds.

I started out doing the Spark generated workout, but after two months of seeing no changes I decided to start a workout plan of my own. I added 5 more strength exercises to the workout they gave me totaling 10 and started doing 30 minutes of cardio four times a week.

Now it's almost May and I still weigh the same. I'm not sure if this means this is pretty much the weight I'm going to stay or if I'm doing something wrong.

I'm not worried because I am getting smaller, but I wonder if it's normal to go down 2 sizes and still weigh the same. Most of my old clothes are too big now, but the scale always reads the same. I've also measured myself and I lost 4 inches.

I just don't get a how I can be so much smaller and still weigh the same amount I weighed when I was much bigger. I'm wondering if this is normal.

If anyone else has had this problem or has any ideas. I'd love to hear from you. Thanks.
