| jump rope is grat cardio. I think it burns more calories than running! I read somewhere that jumping 10 minutes a day will make you lose 10 pounds a month(not sure if that includes dietary changes or not). its hard, but very rewarding.

| Do the Spark Your Way to a 5k running/walking eight week plan while running at the park or somewhere where there is sidewalk. Good luck!

| You could always join a gym. If there's a park around your house (or even a subdivision) you could run in there. Or, if you have stairs in your house then you could run up and down those or even jog in place for awhile.

Hey everyone, I want to build up my endurance by running, but I live in a town with dangerous roads to run on. I don't own a treadmill. Any suggestions/other options for endurance buildup? HELP!!!
