| Make sure, however, that after running 3 miles, your meal is high in protein and rich in complex carbs, so have your lean meat and lots of veggies. Your muscles tear when working out and need protein (and plenty of sleep) to properly rebuild.

Nope, not at all. Your body needs to refuel after your run, so it's fine to eat then.

| I go for a run at night when I have time and usually run about 3 miles... Then I come home and dinners ready. I was wondering, if I eat a big meal (such as dinner) after I run, will it destroy any progress I have made?
