ADAM-
Hope this helps answer your questions.

1- There is no "best time" to run. In terms of fitness, weight management, etc. it doesn't matter whether you run in the morning or the evening--I say what's most important is picking the time that you're most likely to stick with.

To answer 2 and 3, I'm going to link you to a couple articles that I think will help you.

You can run whenever you want. I usually run in the afternoon/evening because that's when my track practice is and I have a difficult time getting up early enough to run in the morning. Also, start with a small distance, like a mile, because if you jump in and do say 5 miles you put yourself at risk for a stress fracture. As for advice to keep running and not walk, I would take the run say, 1 telephone pole or one block at a time. Tell yourself that you can make it to the end of the block and you can stop there if you need to and walk. chances are though, that you will not need to stop and can continue through the rest of your run. You can also make up stories or mentally study for a test or something, this usually helps me keep running.

I think I want to start running, because I really need more cardio in my routine- but I just have a couple questions...
1. Whens the better time to run?
-Early before school
-In the evening
2. Should I start by running a small distance and build up? Or should I run a lengthy distance until I get accustomed to it.
3. How do I keep running and not just give up and walk?

PLEASE HELP!
