My friend has gotten it awhile back and she absolutely loves it. I don't see any reason to get it, for there is only so much strength training moves you can do. You're better off saving the money and using the workouts here. I tend to buy dvd's on cardio, because that's my problem when it comes to exercise.

ADAM-
I've used Power 90 before out of curiosity. It's quite expensive and from my professional standpoint, it isn't anything special. Don't let the flashy infomercials with ripped models fool you! The stuff done in Power 90 is pretty common exercises and workouts that you could get here from our own videos and exercise demos. Plus, the downside to videos like this is that they get really boring over time...it's pretty hard to stick with something when you're tired of doing the same old thing all the time, you know?

I'd say, to answer your question, it's probably safe for healthy teens. You lift dumbbells or weights that are your own level.

Hope that helps,

I have been interested in the P90X system for a while, it seems to have real, dependable results with no bells or whistles. The problem is that it may be for only adults. As a teen, I do not want to do something so intense that would injure my muscles. Has anyone used the system or heard anymore than me?
