Yeah for some reason I like exercising when I am sad or angry. It seems like I've learned to do that alot more now, and it is a GOOD thing. It's just the opposite of what I used to do when feeling down, eat. Sometimes though when I am happy I want to actually eat something and I don't feel like exercising, lol, but I have to learn how to deal with that emotion as well. It's weird...

9- I think it's a good thing. Many times people turn to unhealthy habits wh en they're feeling bad, sad, or other negative emotions. Often people overeat to deal with those feelings, for example, or turn to other unhealthy behaviors. I think the fact that you're exercising is a good way to deal with emotions. And you probably turn to it b/c it's a good way to get out some anger and aggression (or similar), it gives you a chance to think and clear your head, and it also produced endorphins--chemicals in the brain that produce "feel good" feelings.
Stick with it when you need a boost--but keep in mind that fitness alone can't help you deal with serious problems. Sometimes it's still good to talk to someone about it.

Idk why but I feel the need to run when I'm sad. Like, when ever I feel guilty about what my brother did, or what happened to him I run like 4 1/2 miles. But then, when I'm happy its hard to squeeze out 2. Does anybody feel the same way, or know why this is happens?
